On February 23, 2024, Habibi - the Revolutions of Love exhibition opens, where contemporary artists from the Arab world, Iran and Afghanistan challenge gender norms and explore relationships to the body and public space.

We will watch for the first time the interview with Lobna Darwish, activist and gender researcher at the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights. The interview was conducted by Världskulturmuseerna in 2023.
This will be followed by an exchange between Joel W. Abdelmoez, PhD researcher at Lund
Joel W. Abdelmoez is a Swedish PhD candidate at Lund University’s Department of Political Science and the Centre for Advanced Middle Eastern Studies. His research focuses on transnational feminist activism in the contemporary Middle East, and more generally on the politics of gender and sexuality, media, and performance.
Rasha Shaaban is an Egyptian-Swedish feminist, gender rights activist and project leader of Habibi exhibition and Mind the Gap programme at Världskulturmuseerna.
Lobna Darwish is an Egyptian feminist and a gender and human rights officer at the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights, a leading human rights organisation in Cairo.
